Sekure D custom sneaker artist

This is the first custom out of the lab for 2010. It features both the Abstract Graffiti and Carnage patterns and is available now in the store. For a video of the painting process follow the title link or check the blog.

This is the first sticker pack for 2010 and will soon be available in the store but I am giving the opportunity to the first 20 people who email me to get the pack for free.

What do you need to do? Simply email me via the contact page with the subject 'Stickers' and with your full address in the body. If your in the first 20 I will reply back and you will recieve a pack free.

As I am sure you are all aware Haiti is currently experiencing an unimaginable tragedy after the 7.0 magnitude earthquake that rocked the Western Hemisphere’s poorest nation on Tuesday affecting an estimated third of their 9 million people. With a death toll as high as 140,000 and most basic services failing or near failure they are in desperate need of our help. In an attempt to make the smallest of differences I have put the Nike “Chameleon” Air Stab’s up for auction in order to raise money for the victims.

100% of the money raised will go towards the Red Cross and to visit the Ebay auction do so by clicking here. Dig deep because it is a great cause!

Sekure D would like to pass on our best wishes to everyone over the holidays even though we highly question the motives of Santa that is no reason not to celebrate. These are the custom sneakers that were painted partially live at the Simply Bread VI event On Saturday 5th December 2009. They feature my signature Carnage and Abstract patterns as well as a blue gradient stripe. These are a one of a kind and will not be replicated so get involved.

Doors open at 10pm @ Hi Fi bar in the city. I will be around for a few hours so if your in the area I will see you there.I am once again working on some Supra's so it will be a good opportunity to see how the shoes come to life rather then just seeing the final product.

Today we have a new pair of customs entitled the Nike “Raider” Air Force 1 which is the next step of evolution in the development of this abstract style. It is a rather progressive custom and I do not expect it to be everyone’s cup of tea but both myself and Anthony, my good friend from Com Raid and Sneaker Freaker for whom they were made are feeling them a lot.

The color palette draws inspiration from the colors used in the creation of the Watchmen series and has added a few new elements not included in the prior models. Check the blog for a second photo!

This is a video documentation of the creation of my solo exhibition entitled "Toonbots & Roboheroes" @ Qubic store, Auckland, New Zealand which is on show from October 15 - November 15 2009.
