Sekure D custom sneaker artist

The year is 2322 and the robots, no longer reliant on their solar heart panels have taken over the world, exterminating all but a few humans whom are kept for research and as pets. After a century spent completing their foremost objective they are now left, bereft of meaning; a regrettable shortcoming of Artificial Intelligence. Seeking something greater ‘Codename Unknown’ and the rest of the Robotic Allegiance have turned to the daily activities of humans in conjunction with bubble mining to maintain their energy levels and fulfill their needs.

‘Robots > Humans’ is my third solo exhibition and the second in my home town of Melbourne, Australia. If you are a local or in Melbourne get on down to the opening night. All are welcome, see YOU there!

Today we are please to announce that a new Sekure D solo exhibition will be going down in my home town of Melbourne, Australia in a little under a months time. The show is titled "Robots > Humans" and will feature custom sneakers, new artwork and the world wide debut of a new collaboration so stay tuned ...for more information and details in the coming weeks. Spinning with the likes of DJ Clark Kent at 'Sneaker Friends 2010' in Atlanta is about as good of a reason as you can get to rock a pair of custom sneakers right? Well thats what I and Melbourne local M.A.F.I.A though and here we have the final product, the "YO M.A.F.I.A" Force 180. The customs were inspired obviously by the Puma MTV collaboration and put down on one of her all time fav silhouettes the Nike Force 180.

The Nike "Stealth" Dunk Low is now available in the Sekure D store. These customs feature both the signature 'Carnage' and 'Fester' patterns and you can watch a timelapse video of the production of these shoes after the jump so click the header and check it out!

I was lucky enough to be invited by Sneaker Freaker and Adidas to go down to their store in Chadstone to experiment with and create my own pair of Adidas Originals. I chose the ZX700 as I am a big ZX series fan and for a full write up and a closer picture of the end product hit up my blog!

So updates have been a little slow as of late but thats because I am proud to announce I am working on a new solo exhibition. This means that alot of work I am producing at the moment will not be available for viewing until the show opens, however, I am still working on custom sneaker orders and have some new products dropping that will appear over the coming weeks.
