It is with great pride today that I can let you know that I have dug into my vault of customs and have pulled out 25 pairs to auction off for an amazing cause named “Soles4Souls”. They are a Nashville based charity that donates footwear to people in need regardless of race, religion or class. To date Soles4Souls have donated 19 million pairs of shoes to people in more than 125 countries.
I don’t have quite enough pairs of shoes to change the world but I do have another option, holding the biggest custom sneaker auction of all time! After communication with Soles4souls and eBay I have decided to put up some of my prized possessions to raise as much cash as we can, yep 25 pairs!
This isn’t only recent customs either, for the first time ever I am putting up for sale some of my classics, sneakers that are 1 of a kind, that have never been available to purchase and that have been featured in shows, publications and museums all over the world.
50% of the money raised will be donated to Soles4Souls and with such a variety and mass of customs I am hoping to raise a large sum of money and this is where you can come in! I am hoping that you will be able to help raise awareness of the auction with a blog post or feature so that as many people as possible know what we are doing!
This auction represents a large investment of both time and sneakers for me, a personal project for good that has not been backed by anyone else and it’s very rewarding to finally see it come to life! I can’t wait to see how much we raise for such an amazing cause!
