CJ Bruton is an NBL legend in Australia and NZ. He played his final game for the NZ Breakers on Friday night and to commemorate his amazing career Nike and the Breakers asked me to customize a pair of shoes for him to wear in his final game which were presented to him in an on court ceremony before the game. CJ loved the shoes too much to play in and instead chose to keep them in pristine condition as a memento of his time in the league. Just a few of his career achievements include over 500 NBL games, 2 Olympics, 2012 finals MVP, 6 NBL Championships and a Commonwealth Games Gold Medal. If I had to guess it won’t be too long before he is put into the NBL Hall of Fame thanks to Nike and the NZ Breakers for getting me involved in this great project.
