What’s happening everyone? After a whirlwind 24 hours in Sydney I am back in Melbourne recovering from an epic Air Max Day celebration. I got the call up from Nike to come to Sydney and provide a customization service for people on the night who wanted to get their kicks tricked up with the Air Max Day date or a few cool detailed touches.
The event went off awesome, I was situated in the Atmos room which was covered top to bottom in cement print and right to the left of the stage so dripping with base from the speakers. The DJ rotation was on point highlighted of course by my good friend Mafia and then a Tkay Maidza came on at about 11 and killed a set, I have not seen Tkay before and if you don’t know you need to know, live she is amazing, definitely check her out! Ontop of all this the Jason Markks boys were there cleaning up peoples kicks making sure they weren’t getting ruined on the D-Floor and they even had barbers cleaning up peoples fades ensuring everyone looked fresh.
I got through a bunch of sneakers over the 5 hours in there painting and almost as many drinks, in my brothers case, almost as much chicken from Butter haha. Big thanks to Nike and Boom for getting me involved in a great event!
